Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my thermostat lose power every 15 min or so then turn back on? A loss of power and or display of the thermostat could be an indication of water tripping your floating switch. Usually a secondary pan switch attached to side of the secondary drain pan or primary float switch located on the air handler next to the primary drain line can be the source of the problem.

My system is not cooling but the outdoor system is running. What's going on? When your system stops cooling but you see the outdoor unit running, it’s more than likely that you’re seeing the fan motor running. The loss of cooling is because the compressor is not running. This can be checked by feeling if hot air is blowing out of the top of the A/C unit.
